Hello,
I am currently a senior nursing student interested in pursuing a career in critical care nursing. I was curious if anyone had any recommendations for nurse residency programs willing to hire new graduates into the ICU. I'm from the northeast, however I would be willing to relocate for a position which would provide a strong foundation for a new grad ICU nurse with a lengthy preceptorship/educational workshops. I greatly appreciate any input or advice anyone has to offer. Thanks!

I think Duke does longer, new grad residencies for ICU and ED. They are hiring now, I believe. Good tuition reimbursement if you need it.

go to indeed.com and search "RN new grad residency ICU". It should result in several new grad programs. If you have certain hospitals that you want to work at, call their nurse recruiter to see if they offer ICU residencies.
