Hello fellow nurses, I've just received my license but it seems like everyone wants a year of experience. What am I to do, so unfair. Anyone in LA California know of anyplace taking new grads? Please help.

Check out Bakersfield and Fresno. They usually have new grad pools. Good luck! There really is no RN shortage in CA:(

Given the OP is an LVN, I'm pretty sure they couldn't care less about RN jobs.
@OP: Well, just looked on Indeed and found about half a dozen positions for new grad LVN's without trying too hard. Didn't they cover this with you during your LVN training?
Here's how you do it:
1) head over to Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed.com;
2) Put in the text string "LVN preferred" in the WHAT box;
3) Put your ZIP code in the WHERE box;
4) Click on the "Find Jobs" button.
That's it. What you're looking for is the jobs that say "[...some period of time...] LVN experience preferred." That means they'll consider new grads for the position. Any of the Kindred facilities is a good place to look; rehab facilities as well. Try looking at county hospitals as well - they tend to hire from an applicant pool, so you may end up waiting a while when you apply at these facilities. Saw a few for Kindred, plus one for Del Amo Convalescent Center, Junior Blind of America, Fresenius & DaVita (both work with dialysis pts) plus the usual slug of RN positions that'll be expected to supervise LVN's.
And, if that don't work - there's always LTC's. Dress nice & ask for an application; odds are good you won't have to apply too many times to get a bite.
Best of luck!
