Are u a LPN or RN???? I know some of my classmates who got hired at Sentara Long-term, Chesapeake Regional (ER), and Riverside. These are for LPN. Best of luck!!!!
I am an RN i have applied to all those still
Waiting
How about some of the area clinics? A friend of mine is also an RN and she got hired at a plastic surgery clinic as a new grad.

Problem with Hampton Roads: Sentara, Riverside and Bon Secours own most of the hospitals. Sentara, Riverside and Bon Secours have their own nursing schools. So guess who has hiring preference at these facilities?
That being said, these facilities do hire other nurses so keep trying...you just might not get in right away. Otherwise there's plenty of nursing homes, SNF and rehab places in the area. You may also want to try dialysis as that seems to be new-grad friendly in Hampton Roads.
I'm also going to move to the VA forum for a more targeted response.
