    As a new nurse sometimes i don't know what to do in a code situation. I find myself just standing there and everyone else participates. What can I do to get more hands on and act like I know what I am doing?

  5. I just wanted to start a thread for new grad support in the ICU. Its been a month for me im getting better but its nice to hear from others. Does everyone find ECCO helpful?
  6. How do you guys go about feeping comfortable talking to doctors about your patient. I'm a new grad and I'm having trouble feeling comfortable talking to doctors and giving reports.
  7. For those who started out brand new to the ICU, how long did it take you to feel comfortable and confident in yourself.
  8. Just starting my orientation on the SICU unit but I've been in the classroom so far. Like you I'm nervous and anxious but i know the most important thing is to have confidence. Ask questions , pay attention, and ask more questions!! We can do it. Good Luck
