Does anyone know when some of the Boston hospitals such as Children's, Beth Israel, and Brigham and Women's are going to offer more new grad opportunities. I have been checking the websites and there has been nothing for over a month and a half.Thank you

I know childrens is full for now as far as new grads go. I am not sure about any other hospitals, more than likely they wont hire new grads again for at least a few months.

Probably there will be opportunities in the fall, but some places I called said there will be nothing until February. I shook myself out of the idea that I HAD to have a formal "new grad" program before I could start my career; these seem to me to be relatively new. I'm sure they're great, but a good orientation-preceptor program will do just fine. Keep looking for Med-Surg jobs that do not list any specific experience requirements and go for those. There are too few new grad programs and too many applicants, as far as I can tell. Just keep plugging and you may get a nice surprise, but you have to broaden your ideas of what's feasible, too. Otherwise you may be waiting for a LONG time with no results and a career on hold.

Good luck! MA seems to be a hard place to find entry-level nursing positions right now...I know, b/c I have been checking websites every day at nearly every place.
