I have an interview later this month for a position in the OR. Other than Clinicals I am unfamiliar with most of the duties OR nurses do. I know there is a circulator who is pretty much in charge, making sure everything is counted and that everyone has what they need. What is the difference in a scrub nurse vs scrub tech? My interview will have a peer interview componant to it and I'm wondering what to ask, and what I might be asked. Any information would be helpful. I definately know there is more to being an OR nurse than just handing the surgeon instruments.

Scrub techs AKA O.R. techs do the same thing that scrub nurses do, but for about half the pay. Most O.R.'s have techs do most of the scrubbing since they are less expensive.
