Good afternoon allnurses. I stumbled across your forum while Google searching "what to do before passing NCLEX".

My question. What are some unique paths one may take after graduating a BSN program while waiting to take NCLEX? I've heard of some hospitals offering programs to new graduates. How often are hospitals hiring graduate nurses who aren't previous employees ie CNA's, PCT's? I have a good amount of work experience in ER and telemetry, will this help? Are there notable recruiting agencies for new grads/soon to be grads?

I find it extremely difficult to know what state to sit for the test if I don't know where I'll be working!
