Hey everyone I would just love some advise and any recommendations. Some words of wisdom. I just got offered a job! And what a blessing as a new grad to get an amazing opportunity to get a job in the ED. Which is also a trauma ED. I am super excited and extremely nervous . I was hoping if you guys have any words of wisdom about working nights? Best ways to sleep? How do you manage working nights with other parts of life? Any tips before my first day? Any tips about working in the ED? I really want to do my best. And learn as much as I can as well! I only had one clinical rotation in the ED. My program trained me more in med-surg. And I have never worked night before. My shift is 7pm to 7:30 am. I would love some help from everyone and would really appreciate it!

Congrats on your first job!!!!
It's great that you really want to learn. So, learn and absorb. Ask questions!
Regarding sleep, do a quick search here on the Forum. It's been asked/posted plenty of times. Scour the threads and pick and choose from the tips.
Good luck and congrats once again!

Go with an open mind. Ask questions - no question is a stupid question.
