Does anyone know what the work situation is like in Saskatoon for new grad registered nurses? I am considering moving there in 2015.Also, has any nurse benefited from the graduate retention program in Saskatchewan? Thanks!

The last I heard Saskatoon had a hiring freeze. I got the graduate retention program for my cca but I'm not sure if you have to actually go to school in sk to get it. I am pretty sure I'll get the retention bonus when I graduate nursing school also.

I have a couple of friends working in Saskatchewan right now and they've said there is a hiring freeze. As for Saskatoon, when I looked on the job board at the end of February, there were 8 external positions posted.
