I graduate this May and I'm working in my home town hospital that I was a NAII at in the ED. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good pocket reference book with general interventions, labs, and other things good to have on hand. I know most of that is all easily accessible at work, but being I just graduated I'd like the security of having it close by. Thanks!

Are you looking for a 'dead tree' (paper) reference - or have you considered an eReference that you could keep on your phone?
I'm up for anything.. I typically lean more towards a hard copy of a reference, but I won't turn down an ecopy either.
I'm up for anything. As long as it's helpful and presents easy to find info I won't turn it down.

I would save your money for now and wait and see what you need. You also might be surprised that the hospital provided e-resources for you. Everything thing I have needed for my med-surg floor has been able to be found on the intranet for the company I work for
