New Grad, Acute Experience vs Rehab Hospital

Hello! 
I'm a new grad, with limited experience and I'm having a very hard time finding a hospital job. There may be an opportunity that's come up at the new UC Davis Rehab Hospital, and I'm wondering if that will help me down the road as far as hospital employment. I know hospitals are looking for acute care experience, but I'm just wondering if experience at a UC Davis facility would be set apart from a typical sub acute LTC facility.
