We also in the Minneapolsi/St. Paul area are in dire need in many of the nursing homes. The pharmacy was not sent their full supply a couple of months ago and there is none to be had. We have called everything listed on the gov't website, the DOH, the county, clinics, hospitals, and manufacturers... no luck.
While I'm here reading and answering, all sorts of ads pop up on my screen. Not so coincidentally, one of them is from GlaxoSmithKline with an offer to save 3% on all flu vaccine orders. Might be worth your time to click and check it out.

good luck
You need a DEA number to get any pricing or ordering info.... I would have to contact my Med Director for that or our pharmacy. They did have a list of 18 of their suppliers that we can look into. But, i know we have exhausted most of them already. I believe our pharmacy when they state that they have tried all avenues. From what we are being told by at least two of the manufacturers isthat there is only about 15% of the vaccine left out there and it is in clinics, etc. The manuf. themselves have none left.
Thanks for the info though!!

Hi my name is Rochelle and I am new here to the forum. I work as a DON in Colorado. I am happy to have this place to come to! I have a question about flu vaccine. My residents STILL have not received any. My pharmacy supplier is out, I have called 25+ places listed on the CDC to try an obtain some. I am needing seasonal flu vaccine. Does anyone know of any place I can get about 85 doses?
Any others having this issue? Families are NOT happy about it!!
