I work in a LTC facility in which the prior DON resigned under threat of being fired...They have hired a new DON who cant come to work until she goes to court for the charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor (she had a booze party and invited underage drinkers) I would really like everyones thoughts on this
thanks for the great comments keep them coming also she has been fired as don from three other facilities AND led to her car....there was other applicants record free..also I feel she will go into deferred prosecution and that will keep here record clean:(
If she does end up working at your facility I wish you a lot of luck. I have worked for some very difficult DON's and it is definetely a challenge. Just try to stay out of the drama, do your job and go home. Remember you are there for the residents and chances are good that you will outlast her stay at your facility

Actually I am not crying at all. I am not condemning anyone. I was simply giving my opinion to what the OP stated. I thought that was what this forum was for. If people don't want others opinions they shouldn't ask for them or reply to threads that ask for OPINIONS....not facts.
