New Colorado Nurse

Published

Hello fellow nurses! I am an RN from Kansas City, Missouri and happy to say I'm making the move to Denver. I currently work for Saint Luke's Hospital in KC and am currently looking for hospitals in Denver to apply at. I love Saint Luke's because it is non-for-profit, magnet recognition, and it truly cares about patients. We also always have some of the sickest and coolest disease processes in the city that I get to be a part of treating. The pay sucks however the learning is top notch. I work on a pulmonary ICU floor.

I have an interview with Porter Adventist Hospital in the general surgery department (whatever that means..med surg?) and am still applying at others. What are your recommendations on Hospitals for good pay and plenty of learning opportunities?

Your input is appreciated

University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health, St. Joe's, Presbyterian-St. Lukes - all good hospitals, especially for learning.
