hi...I am residing at British Columbia, Vancouver with the education qualification of a BSc registered nurse from Indian university. I also have three years of experience in health care sector. . I have just arrived to Canada with spouse visa and would like to work by taking up a job in my field. as i am not registerd in CRNBC due to my ielts low score .Kindly suggest me to go ahead .thanks

You need to be registered with the College in BC before you can work. You also have to write the CRNE first. I would suggest contacting them.

I would probably suggest getting your English language sorted and applying to the college. I would also say you need to be really good at speaking English especially if looking at working in the Assisted/aged care as many of the elderly will have problems understanding most people without throwing someone in who can not speak English very good.

Take this from someone who speaks perfect English but because I am from the UK and have a different accent a few of the clients who are HOH where I work struggle at times to understand me
