With WGU, you need to be inventive and create your own study guides through various internet sources. Google is your friend. Look at what I found while searching for less than 10 minutes. BTW, I passed DPV1 by studying lecture notes from other college websites.Geriatric Nursing PrinciplesQuizlet: Care of the Older AdultTheories on Aging: Boston UniversityGeriatric Functional Assessment: University of MichiganGeriatric Nursing PowerPoint: Bakersfield College

So are you pretty much relying on alot of internet material and other school information to get through the classes? Do they have textbooks and materials themselves? How does that work? I am looking at WGU for their program as well, but alittle confused at how it works.

WGU issues ebooks that are included in the cost of tuition, and each course has a COS (course of study) with suggested readings and assignments that will help people pass the exams.I don't follow the course of study because it simply takes too long. There's a whole semester's worth of work in the course of study, so I cut to the chase by using lecture notes from other university's nursing departments to learn the material.

Had a very horrible teacher and majority of the class received low grades because her lack of teaching and giving the correct lessons for the exams. I didn't want to wait for January to hit for spring but looks like i have too. Sucks. Trying to sifter out if online would be better for me because I have to work being a single mom. I am not having much luck finding anything else here. Hating it.
