Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner

This is my first time posting to this site, so I'm not sure how to go about doing this! I am a current nursing student in my last semester of clinicals. I have a previous Bachelors degree in Cognitive Science, and will be continuing into my BSN program after completing my ADN next semester.

My career goal is to become a Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner. I have found a few Nurse Practitioner degree programs as well as residency training programs that would help me to gain more experience and knowledge in neurosurgery. However, I am wondering if there are any Neurosurgical NPs out there now who would be willing to offer any advice on pursuing this subspecialty!

Any advice or mentoring would be so greatly appreciated!
