Hi, I am applying (again) to nursing school for Spring semester I am really nervous about the tests. How often do you test? Once a week, Once a chapter?? I read all the posts about time management and how much homework you have, and to learn how to study, and so on. Early in college I took the test that determines what type of learner you are (cant remember the name of the test), anyways results stated that I was kinestic learner. To make long story short I have tried so many ways to study for tests, to me it seems like the only thing that would help me a little bit was I would take notes in class, go home record notes onto recorder and listen to head phones all the time. If I was traveling I would hook recorder up to car and listen to that to and from. The problem with that is I read on all these posts that says all the homework you have, all the chapters you have to read, there is no way I could do this for every chapter- there wouldn't be enough time. I am looking for advice on from nursing studens who are kinestic learners how they have learned to study. Any advice would be great.

I am the same type of learner and auditory came in second, squishing a stress ball or chewing gum has helped me and I take record my lectures and upload them to my Ipod and listen to them while walking or doing stuff around the house, will look over my power points.

In my program we have many exams, we don't have a lot of Homework per say, mainly exams and many of them so we don't have so much on one, our final is comprehensive.

Our teachers tell us repeatedly, 99% of what is on the test will come from their lectures and power points so THIS is what I focus on. I have enough to do with that and the clinical assignments we will have so I don't spend time focusing on things we aren't covering right now.
