How long have you been studying? How are you studying?
From my experience, after I had a test date, I was able to force myself to really study (studied for 3 weeks for 2-3 hrs/day; used Kaplan)
I've been studying since May. I have alot of books that are mentioned on this site. When I do the test I may do 75 and get 61-65 correct. I don't think thats high enough to pass. Right now I'm reading Sysaunder's 5th edition. Like everyone says its alot. I also have Exam Cram, PDA, New Format Questions yes and even Kaplan all new edition. Then I was thinking about the 10,000 questions. I do study the content and do the questions every night maybe 2-3 hours. Thats including the question and going over the rationales. Maybe I'm having anxiety.

Doing 75 questions and getting 65 correct is great, you wont get 100%. Try doing a mock test of 265, you never know how many you will get so see if you can do 265. Since you been studying since May I think its time to take the exam, no more studying is going to prepare you, you either know the info or you dont. Sounds like you have anxiety about taking the test, but we all do. Take it and get it over with. Just go in relax and take deep breaths. Good luck. Go and schedule your date, the next available test date might be in 2-4 weeks anyways so you will have time to finish the saunders.

You know that Nike ad, Just do it!? The NCLEX version is Just take it!
WOW that's a lot of material you've covered! You are better prepared than I was (and scored better than me) & I passed with 75 questions. Based on those scores, I think you are in a really good place. I second the suggestion about taking a 265 mock exam. For me, I always did better on the 75 questions vs the 150 vs the 265. I pretty much can't focus pass question 100.
Believe in yourself. You are a nurse!
PS Did you do well in nursing school? Do you generally do well on tests?

Thank you for all your input. I will call tomorrow to schedule my test. I was an A-B stuident. The Nclex test just makes me so anxious. Everytime I hear or see Nclex my stomach starts to hurt. I will continue to pray on getting over the anxiety. Also I will be for all the July and August test takers. Thanks again.
