Nervous about applying to Daytona State College Nursing Program

Hi Everyone,

I noticed there were no posts for anyone applying to Daytona State College Nursing Program this year (fall 2018). I am stressed because I have to take the TEAS 6 and I've never taken it before. I wish DSC required the HESI because my overall score is 88%. The application deadline is May 31st. I have a 3.03 GPA, so I'm very nervous about the TEAS 6. I'm aiming for the LPN to RN Transitions program. I heard it is very competitive. Anyone out there who is currently in the Transitions program or applying for fall 2018? Any advice on the TEAS 6? Good luck to everyone who will be applying next month. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Took the TEAS today and applied! I'm so excited, now it's just a waiting game. Do they look at your Cum GPA or your pre-req GPA? :nurse: I can't wait til letters start going out

Hey, i keep seeing posts about people saying they applied to a certain campus. Did i miss something because my application just had boxes for day and night and either RN or transition. Just wondering.

I think that's when you're accepted. But I heard that they will put you which ever campus. I didn't know we could choose, just day or night

That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. As long as I get in I don't care what campus it is even though I would prefer Daytona í ½í¸‚

Not yet. Anxiously waiting !!!!! I think we might get letters next week from what I've seen in past spring semesters. I hope it's sooner than that though

Wow really? I don't think I can wait that long. I'm just too excited! Usually right after the application period ends there are a bunch of people on here, I wonder where everyone is lol Halycon, are you doing tradition RN? What campus are you planning to be on?

I know, I don't want to wait that long either..... I am surprised that not a lot of people aren't on here around this time too. I am crossing my fingers for acceptance for the traditional RN. I am hoping for

I should've became a LPN first, but I'm hoping I don't have to go that route.
