Me too! I hope it's a normal feeling.. I know I'm "smart enough" to understand things (and so are you!! You did get accepted!), I'm more worried that I won't be able to get over my laziness and will be able to buckle down and really study hard.
I went on iTunes and downloaded some podcasts, including a review of a "Fundamentals of Nursing" textbook. I've been listening to it while exercising and I feel like it is helping me prepare myself for what is coming up in the first quarter of NS, so I'm not gonna be surprised by the material.
I also went to my local library and checked out some books - a few about nursing assistant tasks (which includes a lot of the basic nursing skills all nursing programs teach in the first sections of the program), one about drug calculations, and a couple NCLEX review books, just so I can get a basic idea of what is in store. All of this has really helped tone down my nervousness.
The Podcasts are a great idea!
What helped me through A&P was recording my own reviews (reading my notes aloud on my iPhone) and then listening to them when I had long drives. I even listened to them when I was falling asleep at night!
That being said, some people manage their stress by over-preparing and "keeping busy," whereas some people get more out of tuning out a bit and relaxing. We have a big semester coming up, and we'll do well to be refreshed. So try to take heart that you *did* get accepted for a reason, and they expect you to do well (and you *can* do well). Enjoy your summer and breathe deep and good luck this fall!

I can't wait to start Nursing school but am extremely nervous. I keep thinking what if I'm not smart enough. Is there anyone that can help with this nervousness?
