Does Anyone Know About Any Good Websites For Private School Loans? I'm A Mother Of 2 Children, And Starting Nursing School In January. I've Been Out Of School For 10 Years And Would Like To Be Able To Devote Most Of My Time To School, Which Means Working Less, Or Maybe Not At All If Possible. I Would Love If Anyone Could Help With Any Suggestions.

Have you filled out your FAFSA yet? You may qualify for grants and federal loans, so don't count those out! :)

Also check with your state dept of financial aid, and possibly even the employment offices to see if your school/situation qualifies for JTPA-type assistance. Good luck! :)

the key for private loans is to find one that will pay for all educational expenses including living costs. some will only cover tution. I took a private loan of 30,000 so i wouldn't have to work. do a search on the internet. there are some good ones. try national city. I have one through them. any q's feel free to PM me

I don't know what state you live in, but Pheaa (from Pennsylvania) the state education thingie has school loans for whatever you need. You have to have good credit, but the interest rate is still pretty low (like 4% ish)

Before you go the private loan route, you might want to check with a financial aid counselor at the school you intend to attend. The government offers loans with deferred payments, sometimes the govt pays the interest, and if you pay the interest, the rate is incredibly low, like 2% or so. Good luck.
