need nurse to nurse point of view

hi,i am registered nurse from the Philippines but is currently in uae right now,i have practiced nursing here for a while but things aren't the way i expected so i shifted to working in an insurance company,still making use of my profession though.the thing is hubby and i have applied for imigration to canada and processing might be over pretty soon.i wanted to know is there any chance for me to work in canada as RN or do i have to do some courses as i haven't been in the hospital for a while?which areas in canada is better?specifically in BC as my agency applied me for registration there?

Have you applied yet to the college of registered nurses in the province you are planning on living in?Hard to say whether you will have any course to do etc

See you put BC at the bottom, if that is where you have applied then things may differ if you apply to another province. Ideally having current RN experience would help with employers but nothing stopping you from trying

thanks silverdragon.actually yes,the agency who is processing for my immigration there has applied me for CRNBC so i guess i'll be any of the provinces in BC.
