I'm a pediatric floor nurse and I've just accepted a position in the pediatric OR. I could use all the tips and tricks that help ease the transition from the floor to the OR! Also any book or reading suggestions that help with peripop 101 would be greatly appreciated!

Your PON101 should include access to Alexander’s Care of the Patient in Surgery, although you’ll need to check if your facility covers the cost or if there is a cost to you. My facility’s periop education department maintains several copies that are loaned for the duration of the program.
