Need the name of this item for developmenal care

Published

I worked in another NICU for a bit and forgot to get the name of this item...it was a jel pillow used to prevent the "bean head" on premies. This one was kind of U shaped. I loved it because it seemed to also help keep the baby's head in a good alienment and didn't sit too high.

Anyone use this item and know where to get it?

I'll check in next week --- M

We use Gel-e-Donuts on our babies... it's not U-shaped though. Kinda looks like a breast implant...a great conversation starter with the parents...LOL

I think you MIGHT be talking about Fred E. Frog? Try looking on Children's Medical Venture's website. They have many popular developmental aids.

Nope it's not the freddy frog but we did trial it...not sure why we haven't used it tho. Very close...ths was more "U" shaped and was gel filled but not round. I haven't seen on the site you've suggested.

They did have those neat heal warmers tho - wonderful!

Anyone else!!??

I believe they are called a Z-Flo pillow...they come in a couple of different sizes...with a washable cover.

No it was not Z-flo...that is too big...this only extended to the shoulders not the whole body.
