Hi I am writing this in behalf of my niece. She is a registered nurse here in the Philippines. She wants to work in Ireland. She wants information and guide how to obtain credential evaluation for Ireland. THanks zuriel

Hi,
Depends whether you want to work in Northern Ireland or in the Republic of Ireland.
If northern Ireland, you need to contact the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
If you want to work in the Republic of Ireland then you need to contact their board of nursing,An Bord Altranais, in Dublin. The telephone number is 0035316398500.In my experience they are very helpful and fast at sending information.
Hope this helps.

Depends on what she wants.I have never worked in Northern Ireland, but I did live in the Republic for 5 years. As long as you go with an open mind, I don't think you will have too many problems.Northern Ireland uses UK currency, and follows NMC guidelines re registration. The Irish Republic has the euro and is an independant country.Your neice could contact both for information and look at guide books for more information.
I enjoyed living in the Republic and met many lovely people.
I still go back to visit.
