Thank you , those are all very helpful .I would like to know if anyone has any information about reconstructive or plastic surgery nursing ? The types of reconstruction after an accident, cancer , burn, birth defect issues? I havent been able to find much information on this subject.

Still new to the site, so I'm not sure if someone already answered you... I think you would find this as a general surgery nurse in a large city/county hospital. These large hospitals generally have special teams for stuff like this. I work at a large teaching hospital, and along with the surgery group, there is a plastics group of surgeons who work on the trauma cases and burns, etc. If you can get some OR experience, I bet you could break into this area with no problem at all!
