Is a Nclex review course really necessary?
I agree with mancha, I did take the Kaplan NCLEX review course and found the instructor to be extremely knowledgable. I learned alot !! The book Kaplan supplies and the Qbank questions kept me on track as far as studying goes . I would definately recommend it . Of course each person learns differently. I took the NCLEX exam last month and had 75 questions on the NCLEX and passed the first time which I am very thankful for. Stay the course and you will do fine ! Best of luck !

ANYONE else having a HORRIBLE education experience???
I do go to school in GB and my first semseter clinical instructor was wonderful, patient and took the time to explain things to an extent, I mean there were things to do so we couldnt sit there for an hour and chat but ,overall excellent. When my clinical was over I did tell her how much I appreciated her skills and feedback whether it was positive or negative. I needed the critique part for me to learn and grow as an RN. What completely baffles me about the horror stories I have heard is the simple fact that as an instructor wouldnt you want the best students and give the best instruction you possibly can?Within reason anyway. Instead of teaching students to fear you or loathe you as an instructor ? When I train anyone for a job or a role I do my best job to make sure that person understands what I am explaining because essentially that trainer or instructor is reflected in the outcome as well .

Take 7 classes in one semester to make deadline!?!
what is the hurry, will you lose your place in school? I would not advise taking 3 sciences in 1 semester. I dont want to sound discouraging but, I doubt your school would allow you to cram that much in anyway. Take your time to learn and absorb it, you will be a better nurse for taking your time to learn. Trust me , its not worth cramming 10 lbs of crap into a 2 lb bag. Good luck !

Is 26 too old to go back to school?
