orthotech student: perhaps we misunderstood each other. There are multiple sites with explanations on the procedures. Are you speaking of scrubbing in and doing the actual surgery? I doubt you will find that in a general site. Look at the research on medscape.com. It has outcome criteria, history etc.

You do need to register but it's free and has a good means of keeping track of your CEs.
I am an orthotech student and I have to give a presentation on lumbar disc replacement. I am having a hard time finding any info on the proceedure itself and I would appreciate any info you would have to contribute. Thanks!
There is much that can be found on the procedure, you may wish to look up Lumbar Spine Surgery, or the specific procedure if there is one that you need to report on.
You can find articles that will give you step by step instructions to performing it. But you need to go to a site that will be geared towards health care practitioners and not the lay public.
WebMD also has much on this topic.
Also your school library should have books on this specific topic as well as have subscriptions to Jounals that you may look up procedures in as well.
Best of luck to you.
