Need some info about this college

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

I'm interested in attending the BSN program in Houston. I have taken a full year of pre refs at Houston community college, so I would like to know if any of the pre refs will be deducted from the 3years. Also, how much will tuition be if I have college credits? I'm not asking for an exact answer, just an estimate. Thank you :)

Have you visited chamberlain.edu? They have the curriculum on the site so you can look at program requirements and estimate how many credits you might need: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Curriculum | Chamberlain College. Tuition info is here: http://www.chamberlain.edu/docs/default-source/financial-aid/tuition-and-expenses_2014_2015.pdf?sfvrsn=4 and the net price calculator is here: Financing Your Education

Just be warned, Chamberlain is for-profit and is quite pricey.

I attended Chamberlain in their RN-BSN program. I was thrilled with the instructors and education I received. It is pricey, but IMO well worth it. I was given credit for all of my pre-reqs and had to take only 3 general courses and 7 nursing classes. There is a minimum number of hours you have to take from them to graduate. Be prepared to write papers every weekend! They also break down a 16 week semester into two 8 week sessions. It enables you to take more classes in a shorter time frame, but it is a heavy amount of work. I did it with 3 busy kids and a full time job, and gradated with a 3.9.

Good luck!
