Need Help With Wound Care Fair

Published

Today my class was told we would be presenting a wound care fair on August 14th. We have split into groups of six students each. My group has the topic; Wound Care Supplies.

What I would like to know is.... Are there places or people I can talk to about getting donations of tape, dressings, drainage tubes, cleansing agents, drains? Even brochures or any new information would be a big help.

Is it appropriate to contact hospitals and see if they have any of these articles, or are there area reps who would be happy to have their products on display?

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

you can contact a wound care specialist nurse at a hospital or facility and tell them about your project and ask if they can give you a couple of samples of products or get in touch with sales representatives of various manufacturers and ask for samples. here are some links to information on wound care and some products that are used.
