I know if you work for the City of Bridgeport, you can work 20 hours and get benefit. If I were you, I would drive to St Vincents Medical Center and Bridgeport Hospital to check and see what positions are available or check the area nursing homes. That is probably your best bet.
I went to st v's and they told me they only hire st v's student nurses for cna jobs. Bridgeport Hosp is out because once hired you need to attend a 3 week orientatiion that is during the day (I am only avail weekends or nights)
Just wondering is anyone out there work at a nursing home pt and get benefits?? It would help to know which nursing homes to apply to!
Thanks in advance:uhoh3:

I am currently a CNA (hopefully starting LPN school in January) and would like to find a job working on weekends but get medical benefits. I am willing to work fairfield, bridgeport, trumbull area and would like to get experience in LTC.
Does anyone know of a nursing home that would give benefits to a part timer?? Thanks
