Hello and welcome to allnurses.com and the Legal Nursing forum
Good to have you with us.
I'm a little confused here. You state you took the AALNC online course but did not complete that?
Then, sat for the AALNC certification examination and passed that and are now, LNCC (Legal Nurse Consultant Certified)?
Or, did you fail to complete a portion of the AALNC online course and need to know what to do now?
Please clarify so that we can better assist you.
No! I took a classroom class, no online classess. I completed the portion of my class and was able to sit for my test. I passed!! What I have not completed is my sample memorandum to send as an example to lawyers as a marketing strategies. I did all of them before I sat for the test but needed to make some corrections as per my mentor, and get back to her my corrected memos. What happened is that at the end of last year, I had many problems and left the idea aside. I just want to make the corrections needed and try to work as a legal nurse consultant. My fear is that since I am new, many lawyers in new york, maybe reluctant in working with me. I just need some advice in how to enter the LCN world and be comfortable. I want to take some risks.
I think I understand.
You took a community college course or University course in Legal Nurse Consulting, right? Did not complete the course, but were allowed to test? (were you certified? which course? were you allowed to use a title after your name?)
And, you are needing to tweak/perfect a marketing letter for an attorney-client in order to finish the LNC course?
You may contact me via private message if you like and we can discuss this privately.
