Need help, from where to start my career?

Published

Hi everyone, I am starting my nursing career in spring 2008, and got accepted in GPC...I heard the college instructors r tough and rude to students...and I am too strange to chemistry and other sciences because it will be my first year of Chem and labs after 5 years...so I don't think it's good step to start with GPC...Please if anyone of you know any other good community colleges please tell me more abt that...which has good NCLEX passing rates of students...I am in south georgia McDonough...

any help will be appreciated...

Hi Jalpa

You are in a good position as far as where you live b/c you can apply to Gordon College!! I have been reading alot on the topic of school and while I have heard SOOOOO many negative things about GPC:angryfire(On this website as well as from talking to different nurses) I have only heard positive things about Gordons Nursing Program:lol2:. I didnt even apply to GPCs program even though it is closer to where I live, I didi apply to Gordons Nursing Program and got in!!! So I hope it is as good as advertised. Everyone down there seems really nice and helpful like a family almost. If I were you I would apply there:lol2: Good Luck!!!

Thank you so much for both of ur responses...actually I applied to both colleges when I started applying for colleges but in earlier, I heard GPC is good for nursing specifically so just stopped working on Gordon application...thank god...now I should go with Gordon...I really appreciate to both of u and allnurses' members...
