Hey everyone! I have a question about my resume.
I haven't worked since 2004 bc I went to school and had kids, too. Before that, I worked 3 different restaurant jobs. I want to include my clinical rotation information and my work history of course.
But it doesn't all fit on one page. So, my question is, can I just put my last job on it? I worked there the longest for 4 years and started as a cook and left as a trainer. I wanted to include this to show my work ethic.
Any suggestions? All of the restaurants are shut down now, but I think that the last one still has places open in other states so I was going to include the corporate number.
Please let me know, thanks!

Are you applying for a RN position? I think any experience with customer service is positive...as nurses need to provide customer service all the time..to patients and their family...
There's no standard format for the resume...one thing to remember is to make it easy to read! If you can make it short, concise and catches the attention of the reader, you are successful. Avoid to put in too much information and bore your potential employer. Hope this helps!

include your current nursing program, where you are doing your clinicals and your last job. the purpose of including your last job might be (if they even contact them) to verify that you are being truthful and if they can get any clue about your attendance history (that is what we were always interested in). if you are applying for rn jobs the only people who can give you a recommendation are your instructors and employers know that. your instructors are the only people who have actually seen you do rn level work and are capable of giving you any kind of evaluation of your ability to perform at it. when we hired new rn grads we always asked for a recommendation from the graduate's instructors. we never hired without it. previous employers can only attest to other character traits.
