Need help with a project idea

Hello,

I am new to the forum but I am looking for any ideas that one might have. I am currently in my last semester of the nursing program and have to do a teach/learn presentation and paper. The presentation has to be 10-15 minutes long and preferrably pertain to new grad nurses. The topic can pertain to anything in nursing but something I can eaducate my peers about. I need help finding a topic! I should be specific and something I can cover in the time allowed. Alot of my classmates are covering cardiac and things like EKG interpretation. I would like to cover something that not many others would think of.

Isolation precautions could be a good one. Its very important and when it comes to you taking the NCLEX you and everyone you taught this to will be very appreciative because it is an important subject that is usually on the NCLEX. If you dont like that then think of something that you enjoy learning about, something you know a lot about. Good luck

Maybe something along the lines of pain assessment and documentation on patients ranging from fully alert, to nonverbal, to dementia patients and alzheimer's patients.

or techniques for preventing/reducing serverity of pressure ulcers.
