A new test plan for the NCLEX PN came out April 2005. If you don't have it already, you can download an abbreviated version for free or purchase a detailed version for ten dollars at http://www.ncsbn.org. There are many alternate item formats. The two you mentioned, plus "hot spot," drag and drop, and exhibit items. Go to the NCSBN website I gave you and take the tutorial for the NCLEX. You will be able to see the alternate formats. The exhibit items may not be there yet, but maybe.

You already have your LPN license, and are trying to pass the RN exam? You stated that you have the AS.
So, I am assuming that you are going for the RN? Can you clarify that first? Two different approaches to studying.
Sorry, I missed the part about you going for the RN. The RN test plan came out in April 2004. Otherwise, the information is the same as whast I told you for the RN.
Yes I am trying to pass nclex RN ! all study help/advice accepted thanks
