You must check every school you might apply to. Sac St is so competitive now, you will not get in with anything less than an A- in a science unless you can score almost 100% on the Teas. Some schools will dock you heavily for any repeats, and most colleges won't even let you repeat it unless you got a D or lower. So those of you getting a B here and there, you prob. won't make Sac State with their current selection system.
Hello there. I just got into ARC, so we are probably in the same area. A friend of mine was at Sierra and she got a "c" which they consider too high of a grade to repeat, so she had to retake it at ARC. That might be an option for you. Your definitely going to need a better grade than a C though. Sorry. Hope that helps though.

Hello everyone I am a student at a junior college and i have taken almost all of my pre-req courses and am hoping to transfer as a nursing student. I have gotten mostly A's and a few B's. But in anatomy and microbiology i got a D the first time and retook both of them and got a C the second time. I know that isn't good enough for retaking a class. But I working at teh time at a nursing home and decided to do hard science classes together at once. Not a good idea. My current g.p.a is a 3.3 and i stil need to take physio. I really want to go into Sac state but heard they are super competitive. I am currently studying for the TEA's and hoping i can do really good on them. Any suggestions for how or what other ways I could get into a RN program would be really helpful. Thank you guys.
