Need help with nursing math

Cefuroime 75 mg/kg/day IV in 3 divided doses. Supply: cefuroxime reconstituted 90mg/ml.

Child's weight is 4.8 kg. What is the quantity to administer? Round to the nearest tenth.

First--multiply the dose x the weight in kg so you get 75x4.8 which gives you 360. In three divided doses is 120mg per dose. Then do the math 120/x = 90/1 you get 120=90x, 120/90=x, x=1.3ml
