NEED Help looking for work in NYC

Hi

I am a newly grad BSN and just recently passed the NCLEX.

I would like to know if any hospitals in NYC are hiring or have a new residency program for new nurses.

I would appreciate it.....

My loan is gonna kick in pretty soon...........

    I am in the same position. I have been looking a job all over the country because my loan will be kicking in soon. It is very hard to find a job, but you have to put out applications everyday.

    NYC has a terrible nursing market. Several hospitals have shut down, in fact, Saint Vincents in Manhattan shut down this week after 160 years of service! You know what this means...it saturates the city with hundreds of experienced nurses looking for work. There are a glut of new grads as well, NYC has dozens of BSN and ADN programs that crank them out every few months. I do not mean to discourage you, maybe you will luck out! For most of us it has been a futile attempt...I found work, finally....in Houston, TX.
