Need help on failure to thrive research paper!!!!!

I am writing a research paper on why an emotional disconnect between the mother and baby causes failure to thrive. If anyone has any information with citation or any websites that might be useful please help!!! I have alot of sites on failure to thrive but not specifically the emotional side.

I googled "mother baby emotional bond" and found an article at the American Psychological Association website. When searching in google trying using some different words, like what I used instead of "failure to thrive".

also try using search terms "pyschosocial failure to thrive" or "non-organic failure to thrive"

I would also caution you about 'non-organic failure to thrive'.... another condition can easily be misinterpreted as FTT....CSS (Constitutional Short Stature).

Thanks for the help! I also found something that effects failure to thrive specifically non organic. It's called maternal deprevation syndrome. I think this is what I should be looking at for info am I right?
