Need help! CNA, PCT, or CMA?

I need help figuring out which training course to take. The cma nd pct cause both prepare u for certification in phlebotomy nd EKG but the downside is these classes are 5 to 6 months. I want to get in the nursing field quick nd the cna is only 4 weeks but doesn't prepare u for phlebotomy or EKG. Which one should I take. I want ev entually work IN a hospital one day after I get some experience under my belt. Is cna a wise decision?

How much is each training course?

You can become a CNA and, after getting some experience, enroll in a phlebotomy course at a local community college.

both would be free for.me because I'm going through unemployment nd they pay for any training I want. The cna course us just quicker. But the PCT course seems better. Do u think u can get hired in a hospital after 3 to 6 months of ltc experience?

There are other threads that discuss this here on the CNA/MA forum. I know it varies depending on where you live. Here, in CA, most hospitals want you to have at least a year in acute experience before they'll hire you. 4 years ago they wanted you to have six months of any CNA experience, including LTC. Try looking at job boards and see what they want in your area. I'm not sure if having a PCT will be enough, without any experience.
