i need help in choosing my nursing research topic

Published

hey there, i have my nursing research subject this semester and we have to submit and defend it by finals. i am finding it hard to choose my topic for the research. can anyone help me? thanx

hmmm. try to look for new trends in nursing that would be a good topic for ur research. good luck

same here, but thank God we already have a topic. God bless!

Specializes in CCRN wannabe.

My teacher once suggested to make a study on the accuracy of vitals signs recorded by nurses (NAs, LVNs, RNs) especially breaths per minute.

In the hospital where I did my medsurg clinical, a lot of the CNAs were not doing this properly and just records whatever they feel like it.

It maybe a little controversial but it is worth a try.

Goodluck.

to all of u who posted, thanx a lot. i will try all of your suggestions...thanx again!:w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

I am currently doing research on End of life care and cultural sensitivity and how nurses can provide culturally sensitive care here in the Neonatal ICU. Some of the researches that I have looked at are accuracy of pain assessments in non-verbal patients or accuracy of family-reported pain assessments, heparin vs saline flushes, etc. If you need more information visit www.pubmed.com or the cochranelibrary (you can google it) they have a lot of researches and would even give you trial methods so you can replicate the experiment. Good luck!
