i'm just curious. did you try to get into uic's nursing program? i heard they are really good and they are alot cheaper than rush. in order to get into rush you must have every prereq done before you start the nursing classes. i know quite a few people that graduated form there. i also volunteered there years ago way before i became a nurse. the science classes can be hard but it is worth the knowledge you'll gain. you'll do fine. good luck :)

Hi everyone! I am currently in the process of trying to get into nursing school. Actually, I am still working on getting my prerequisites. I have graduated from UIC in Chicago w/ a psychology degree. My goal is to get into the Rush University BSN program. I was wondering if anyone here has been accepted or has completed this program. Without having to be specific, how qualified were you when you applied. I am trying really hard to have good grades, but I have always struggled with science. However, nursing is what I really have a passion for, and I can't see myself doing anything else. I would really appreciate any advice. I am currently taking Microbiology and also will be volunteering at Rush hospital. Thank you so much!
