I just wanted to ask nurses out there that are currently in pediatrics to give me just an overview of what exactly the job entails. I want to become a nurse specifically so I can help children. I just want to make sure this is the right job for me as I do not want to spend time and money to work so hard only to find out I am not cut out for it. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. Hi everyone! I am currently in the process of trying to get into nursing school. Actually, I am still working on getting my prerequisites. I have graduated from UIC in Chicago w/ a psychology degree. My goal is to get into the Rush University BSN program. I was wondering if anyone here has been accepted or has completed this program. Without having to be specific, how qualified were you when you applied. I am trying really hard to have good grades, but I have always struggled with science. However, nursing is what I really have a passion for, and I can't see myself doing anything else. I would really appreciate any advice. I am currently taking Microbiology and also will be volunteering at Rush hospital. Thank you so much!
