Hi! I've got a patient with an elevated K+ - no gag, NG out and can't be replaced without ENT involvement, stoma for Dukes. I've got a resonium order, PR - when we reminded the resident about the stoma she said she'd get back to us... and hasn't! (Are you all shocked?) Advice?
Thanks, T
PS Apologies if this has been posted before - there are a lot of hits for 'stoma' 'meds' and 'via'

Any med that can be given rectally can be given via a stoma. Oral meds depend on the med and how they are broken down, if they would be cuastic or not.
That would be the way to go.
Awesome, Suzanne - thanks :)
