Hello, everyone. I am in the 2nd semester of the ANP in Chicago, Illinois. My newest instructor has asked my class to locate a fellow nursing student in another country and ask questions re: educational background and practice experience, future goals, and nursing issues. Is there anyone out there who can help? The instructor is basing one of our grades on our ability to obtain this connection. All the help that can be given would be greatly appreciated. I am at a loss on how to contact anyone. :imbar

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is an ANP and does your contact also need to be a student ANP?

An ANP stands for Advanced Nurse Practitioner....Yes the person that I am supposed to dialogue with is supposed to be a nurse working toward her degree as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Are you one?
HA HA HA!!! You are so cute. Well, actually a Nurse Practitioner degree in the United States is a Master's Degree. What field of study are you in?
I'm a nurse practitioner working in general practice... qualified 6 yrs ago.. so I'm not an NP student. I'm now doing a masters in respiratory medicine...
That sounds great. How does it feel to work as a Nurse Practitioner? Are you going to Resp. Therapy because you want to get out of nursing?
I'm a family nurse practitioner, working in a large practice. over here its possible to specialise within a practice so I am the nurse 'with a special interest' in respiratory medicine. As such I take responsibility for all respiratory stuff within the practice. Another nurse is responsible for diabetic care. In a way, I have the best of both worlds.. so its great!
not ever leaving general practice!
