I have question i did get my ATT, and i schedule my exam on middle of June:( ahhh What do u mean by nclex 3500 clear 3000 question?

Course I'm styding on Saunders 5 th, & exam cram 3th, i also planing to take 3 weeks NCSbs course,

Nclex 3500 is free online google and download they say the more questions and rationales you encounter the better! Good luck

It's not about memorizing...memorizing doesn't work in nursing school. It's about understanding. Once you understand, memorizing is unnecessary (aside from lab values etc...)

I would hope you aren't just memorizing facts. You need to understand rationales and know why something is the way it is. Nclex is not just memorized facts. You may want to try the Hurst review. Good luck.

Ive really been into mnemonics recently!! I downloaded NCLEX mastery for my iphone (as recommended by several allnurses posters) and they have a HUGE list of mnemonics. I'm lovin' them :)

i am only trying to memorize signs and symptoms i keep forgetting them but i know what the disease is.

Hurst review will teach you how to critically think ad understand so you can apply it to the dz.

Ex: they tell you to think of Ca and Mg as sedatives. Too much=too sedated, too little=not sedated. Also think muscles when you see Ca and Mg. that allows you to relate it to different dz processes.

I agree with the above poster. I listened to Hurst videos one week before taking my exam and really helped me understand a lot of the content. True, Nclex is not about memorizing but understand the why there are symptoms in order to select the correct answer. I used Kaplan for questions and it Nclex was just like it.

i think i need that suggestion.. thank you so much :)... the thing that confuses me most is when i am asked on a SATA question on s/s of a respiratory ds. most of them have similar or same s/s which is confusing to me

I really think hurst would clear everything up for you! It's well worth the money!
