Hi.. I have been an LPN for over 12 years and have been accepted into a LPN to RN transition course with a local college and tried it, but to be honest just don't have the at hope support to continue.. I have a 9 year old son who is my life and I have to work and I really need to finish my RN to be able to have better options for the future.. Can some be honest, and tell me if they have been through an on-line LPN to RN program and was it worth it or is it the wrong direction.. I believe Excelsior College is consider one of the best but still just not sure.. I love in SC is Excelsior accepted in my state.. appreciate any post and guidance for a much needed goal.. Sincerely, Carmen

Excelsior College offers a distance LPN-to-ASN degree program, and Indiana State U. offers an online LPN-to-BSN degree program. Both require the student to be an independent learner with intrinsic self-motivation who can learn the material without much guidance. In addition, both schools are not accepted for licensure by all state boards of nursing.
Thank You.
