We've started our pscych rotation, and of course, there is always the paperwork for every clinical. I am so accustomed to NANDA diagnosis for medical patients that I am now finding it dificult combining a psych diagnosis, with a NANDA type nursing diagnosis, and related interventions. This is not something I can see in my mind (maybe that's a good thing). I am finding it fascinating, and am wanting to do the patient justice by being accurate in my nursing diagnosis. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a source (book, website, etc) that may be helpful in this area. Thank you in advance. LPN to RN student.

I used this book when I did my psych rotation. It was great!
Link to it from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Manual-Psychiatric-Nursing-Plans-Varcarolis/dp/1416029168/ref=dp_cp_ob_b_title_1
